Speech and Language Enrichment

A child’s language environment is a critical factor that drives brain maturation which age skills and the foundation for social emotional skills, executive functioning skills, and academic skills across socio-economic status (Deoni,2022). Conversation is what makes a language rich environment. PLAY is a language rich Experience. Through play children begin to apply language and learn higher level language and cognition skills such as perspective taking, problem solving, imagining, story telling, predicting, inferring and other skills with other humans.

Children demonstrate their most advanced language skills during play, and that these language skills are strongly related to emergent literacy (Christie & Enz, 1992; Christie & Roskos, 2006).

Little Learners

30 minutes of guided play through sensory and language enriched activities and 30 mins mixed with purposeful/open play. Parents will receive speech/language milestone and strategy materials.

Groups: 1-3 year olds.

Parent/Caregiver participation required.

Maximum of 8 in a group.

Missing for vacation/illness was taken into consideration when determining prices and you do not have to be present the whole 6 weeks to participate.

The Intensive Phonological Awareness Program

Developed by SLPs, this proven supplemental curriculum is the perfect way to give systematic, intensive phonological awareness instruction to students in Grades K–2 , whether they have language impairments or just need extra help with their early literacy skills.

2 times a week for 12 weeks can be implemented via school contract or private pay.

Camp Communicate

A week long intensive camp of groups of 4 kids focusing on severe speech sound disorders. These are 60 minute sessions. The camp is focused on providing intervention at a more intense rate than what your child would receive in a typical week of speech therapy. It is open to any families excited to take advantage of summer vacation to help their child’s speech skills!

Social Skills Camp
